When we are preparing for IELTS, the first thing to do is find out what should you bring to in exam center and what you should not take with us. We will try to explore all of these in this article.
We must take precautions to avoid any possible cause of delay to our Entry to the exam hall.
Step One
- If you are a school student, wear your uniform.
- Try to arrive at the exam venue at least an hour earlier than the exam time.
- You must also take into account the traffic congestion. If you usually have heavy traffic, start even earlier.
Step Two
You must secure all the necessary documents and equipment during your Entry to the exam hall.
- Your statement of Entry.
- International valid passport. You must have at least six months of validity of your passport.
- A clear bag; and good quality pens, pencils, and pencils.
NOTE:
- Please remember that you will not be able to take your mobile phone inside your exam hall. So, better if you leave it at home or with some who can wait outside during your exam.
- No smartwatches or electronic devices will be allowed in the exam hall.
- Leave all the valuable things back home.
What kind of ID is acceptable
Your valid international passport is the only acceptable ID you can bring to your exam hall. You should have at least six months of validity.
Make sure that you renew your passport before you register for your exam if you need.
Statement of Entry
When you register, a document will be given to you as a print copy or via email to confirm your IELTS exam registration. It will contain all your necessary information – full name, date of birth, and other necessary information.
School students usually get this from their respective schools in some countries. Private students usually get this via email or post a few weeks before the exam.
